There is no denying it; Choosing a wedding photographer today is a tough item to tick off your list as a couple of wedding planners. There are a lot of different styles and approaches to choose them. Naturally, when offering couples an alternative to most wedding photographers on the market, I am asked plenty of questions about how I might approach a day, the equipment I choose to use, and why.

We grew up reminiscing our childhoods captured by our families on disposable film cameras throughout the 80s & the 90s, and then watching our lives replayed on VHS videos and DV recorders. These images possess a kind of power that digital photography will never be able to replicate with the same emotional response.

Included in your investment towards emotive, personal, and honest wedding photography, is anywhere between 10-30 rolls of film, as well as my expert knowledge and ability in using my chosen tools.

Super 8

Motion picture film has become a major feature in my work for all kinds of couples. Super 8mm is perfectly imperfect. While others may describe analog film photography and videography as having limitations, it’s those limitations that create the character we love but can’t quite put into words. Digital techniques, regardless of how advanced they may become, will never be able to fully replicate the emotive qualities of film, particularly motion picture film.

I offer Super 8 film highlight reels as add-ons to all wedding packages. Shot entirely on reels of Kodak film, this is an honest, unpolished, and endearing home-movie-like documentation of your wedding day.

Every film is truly unique to you and your day. No other film will ever be like it. You will receive your film in digital format to be stored, shared, and enjoyed where and whenever you want. you will also receive your 8mm reels to be added to your keepsakes from your wedding day.
