Based in Glasgow, Scotland, Simon captures weddings in his home city and beyond for couples, some of whom have become his good friends.

Simon has dedicated his career to the arts. An artist at heart, he studied design at Art School with a career as an Interior Designer that followed. Now as a dedicated film photographer with a unique eye for people and spaces, Simon captures wedding days by prioritising effective story-telling by setting the scene. Simon has always had an acute obsession with capturing mundane moments on camera and chooses to document those details at the weddings he is asked to photograph.

If you are a little different than other couples, or you are planning a contemporary wedding affair then Simon is your man. He will use a mix of techniques to document and narrate the story of your wedding, just as you would watch a movie and connect with the characters on screen.

Simon’s work is predominately captured on a range of film cameras, from 35mm point and shoots to professional grade film cameras as well as larger medium format cameras and Polaroids. Artistically driven, he documents days sensitively and intimately. Simon is inspired by motion picture films of the past and present, creating cinematic memories full of colourful fleeting moments that naturally happen throughout your wedding day.
