When it comes to photography, I am self-taught. My journey behind the lens began with discovering my Dad’s cherished Chinon CE-4s 35mm film camera and learning how to photograph using film, building a fundamental understanding of light and shadow through mastering a completely manual camera. Since 2012, I have been documenting my world on 35mm film. Thousands of rolls later, and close to fifty cameras later, I have an expertise in using film to capture the scene in front of me, knowing its limitless creative potential for poetically recording the moment.
My vision is to photograph your day from the perspective of a guest, a loved one, a partner, or a friend. I want your wedding photography to feel familiar, nostalgic, simple, authentic, and true to the moment. I want your pictures to have the power to evoke memories - I'm hoping you'll be revisiting them for decades to come.
When it comes to your wedding, you can be sure that you are hiring someone who is not just shooting film because it's currently trending and fashionable. It is, and always will be, the catalyst that keeps me photographing life.
